Audio & Video Engineering — ONLINE COHORT is a hands-on, project-driven program built to give you real, marketable production skills—the kind that can lead to higher-paying opportunities, stronger creative work, and the ability to produce professional audio and video for your own business or personal projects. This isn’t a “watch and hope” course. You’ll learn modern, industry workflows and prove your skills through finished projects that become your portfolio/demo reel—so you graduate with work you can show, not just notes you took. What you’ll learn includes: Audio foundations (signal flow, gain staging, connectors, mic types & polar patterns), Pro Tools setup and editing, vocal/dialogue recording, mixing (EQ, compression, de-essing, reverbs/sends), sound design (Foley/SFX, ambience, loudness basics), video production basics, scriptwriting and pre-production (story structure, shotlists/storyboards), DaVinci Resolve editing (multicam, transitions, rhythm editing), color correction/grading using scopes, titles/lower thirds, exporting for YouTube/social (codecs, aspect ratios, captions), live A/V and streaming fundamentals (feedback control, routing, OBS setup/sync), plus music production and scoring to picture (MIDI, tempo maps, stem delivery). You’ll finish with a capstone project, portfolio build, and certification exam(s). Because it’s online-only, you get flexibility without losing structure.
